Article 1 (Purpose) The Code of Research Ethics aims to prevent unjust conduct by the authors of Journal of Migration and Social Integration(JMSI hereafter).
Article 2 (Definition of Unjust Research Conduct) Unjust research conduct means any kind of conduct that is unacceptable in the academic profession in general, such as plagiarism and fabrication.
Article 3 (Prohibition of Unjust Research Conduct) A paper with unjust research conduct shall not be published in JMSI.
Article 4 (Research Ethics Committee) The Research Ethics Committee(Committee hereafter) consisting of 3-5 editorial board members has the authority of investigating the case of alleged unjust research conduct.
Article 5 (Opportunity of Defence) The Committee shall give the author the opportunity to state his/her opinion on the case and to defend.
Article 6 (Investigation Period) The Committee should make a decision within three months from the beginning of the investigation.
Article 7 (Miscellaneous Matters) Matters not mentioned in this Code shall be decided by the editorial board of JMSI.
Article 8 (Revision of the Code) This Code can be revised by the Managing Committee of Migration and Social-Integration Research Center, Konkuk University.
